Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and Founder
Jeremy Frommer is Creatd's Chief Executive Officer, Chairman and Founder, having served on Creatd's executive team as well as its board of directors since the company's inception. He is a veteran of Wall Street, having spent over 20 years as a portfolio manager and in senior management in the investment banking and trading (risk arb) divisions of large financial institutions, including Kidder Peabody & Co., Bankers Trust, Bank of America, and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). In 2002, Frommer launched NextGen Trading, a software development company building proprietary equity trading platforms; NextGen was later acquired by Carlin Financial Group for $10 million in 2004, at which point Frommer was named CEO of the combined entity. In 2007, Mr. Frommer began his tenure as Managing Director of Global Prime Services at RBC Capital Markets following Carlin’s $100 million acquisition by RBC. Mr. Frommer holds a B.A. from the University of Albany.
Chief Operating Officer, Director and Founder
Justin Maury first joined Creatd in 2013, bringing with him ten years of experience in the creative industry. After partnering with Creatd co-founder Jeremy Frommer, Justin, a full stack designer and product developer by training, led the Company’s product development for four years. His passion for the creative arts and technology ultimately yielded the vision for Creatd's flagship product, Vocal. During these formative years for the company, Justin was a driving force in creating the vision, design and architecture for the Vocal platform and managing the oversight of technology development, and the platform continues to grow and evolve under Justin’s supervision. In August 2021, Mr. Maury was named as Creatd's Chief Operating Officer. In September 2022, Mr. Maury was appointed to the Company's Board of Directors.
Chief Financial Officer
Chelsea Pullano has been our Chief Financial Officer since June 2020. Ms. Pullano has a long history of leadership at Creatd, serving as a member of the Company’s Management Committee for four years. Prior to her current role, Ms. Pullano was an integral member of Creatd's finance department since 2017, most recently serving as our Head of Corporate Finance, a role in which she coordinated our periodic reports under the Exchange Act and other financial matters. Prior to joining the Finance Department, Ms. Pullano was a member of our operations team from 2015 to 2017. She holds a B.A. from the State University of New York College at Geneseo.
Director
Peter Majar has served as a member of our board of directors since November 2022. Peter has over 25 years of experience as an investment banker, advisor, and entrepreneur, with an emphasis on technology and financial services, having held roles at Credit Suisse First Boston within the Investment Banking Technology Group and Financial Technology & Diversified Financial Services at Piper Sandler. Majar brings to the board his concentrated relationships across the Financial & Business Services industry, having played key roles in transactions including Blackstone-Paysafe, Great Ajax, Instinet, as well as the acquisition of Carlin Financial–Executive Chairman and CEO Jeremy Frommer's proprietary trade execution firm–by the Royal Bank of Canada. Majar holds an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.S.B.A from the University of Washington, where he serves on the Advisory Board of the University’s Foster School of Business.
Erica Wagner has been a member of Creatd's board of directors since November 2022, and previously held the role of Lead Editorial Innovator. Erica's career spans over 25 years as an esteemed author, critic, broadcaster, and podcaster. Born in New York and now living in London, Erica's most recent book is Mary and Mr Eliot: A Sort-of Love Story, praised in the Sunday Times as ‘forensically astute’ (Faber and Faber/FSG, 2022/2023). Chief Engineer: Washington Roebling, The Man Who Built the Brooklyn Bridge was published in 2017 (Bloomsbury) and was the winner of the Eccles Centre and Hay Festival Writers’ Award. She is the editor of First Light: A Celebration of Alan Garner (Unbound) as well as a novel, Seizure and a book of short stories, Gravity. Previously, Erica was the Literary Editor of the London Times for seventeen years and is a contributing writer for the New Statesman and consulting literary editor for Harper’s Bazaar. She is a frequent broadcaster and a skilled chair of literary and cultural events. For CHANEL, Erica is the host of a literary podcast, ‘The Literary Rendezvous at Rue Cambon’: her guests have included Ingrid Persaud, Lisa Taddeo, Jocelyn Nicole Johnson and Maddie Mortimer. She has twice been a judge of the Booker Prize and has been judge and Chair of the Goldsmiths Prize. In 2015, Erica was awarded an Honorary PhD by the University of East Anglia, and is now Goldsmiths Distinguished Writers’ Centre Fellow.
